AFESC--Educating ALL Students: Implementing Effective Co-Teaching

Co-teaching is an inclusive method of providing specially designed instruction to a group of diverse learners. But what is co-teaching?  What does it really look like? How do we know if we doing it right?  Finding answers to these questions is critical to the success of an effective co-teaching program. Through this interactive session, participants will learn the fundamentals of co-teaching, the roles and responsibilities of all professionals involved, and will take part in a demonstration of the six instructional formats.  This session is appropriate for special educators, general educators, and administrators who are new to co-teaching or those who would like to improve an existing program.  Instructional facilitators and others who support these teachers are also encouraged to attend.

1a, 2b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 4e
