Grasping Phenomenal Science: Evaluating Models, Inferences and Experimental Results (Pre-AP Certification)



How can engaging in Science and Engineering Practices contribute to student success? Participants will use strategies, tools, and resources to learn how to support students in using and developing scientific models.  This practice supports student success as measured through the reporting category, "Evaluating Models, Inferences and Experimental Results" of the Science ACT Aspire.  6 hour Session  Participation in this session meets the ADE requirement for Pre-Advanced Placement Science (Pre-AP) teacher certification or recertification for middle school, junior high, or high school teachers.  

Audience: Grades 3-12 teachers, Curriculum Specialists, Instructional Facilitators, Administrators
