Are you looking for a new curriculum that meets the rigorous demands of our state standards? This training will introduce you to a FREE resource provided by Open Up Resources and Kendall Hunt called Illustrative Mathematics 6-8 Math Curriculum.
This curriculum provides:
- ?Vertical alignment
- ?Supports for English Learners and Students with Disabilities built into the teacher notes
- ?Student-friendly goals and learning targets before and after each lesson to focus learning.
- ?Diagnostic and End-of-Unit Assessments, as well as Mid-Unit assessments for longer units.
- ?Instruction Routines that promote a culture of learning and growth mindset
Each day of training focuses on the main components of implementing a new curriculum:
