Ready to take the next step in your science instruction? Ready to
move from planning lessons to developing units of study and formative
assessments? This two-day work session will provide educators with the
knowledge, tools, and resources to develop grade/course-specific science units.
Follow-up support, including the development of formative assessment
tasks, will be available throughout the school year. Individual teachers and grade-level teams are
welcome. 2 - 6 hour sessions Participation
in this session meets the ADE requirement for Pre-Advanced Placement Science
(Pre-AP) teacher certification or recertification for middle school, junior
high, or high school teachers.
If you are not under contract with the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative or one of our 14 member districts, you will be responsible for all fees related to this workshop. The fee for this workshop is $35. Payment is expected the day of the training unless prior arrangements have been made.
