GREC-Why Am I Always Looking For My Graded Papers?: Establishing and Maintaining Classroom Systems
There must be at least 250 real-time demands that teachers encounter every day between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. If there are no systems in place, then those demands can create chaos. Establishing and maintaining classroom systems is vital! Systems for distributing and submitting assignments. Systems for parent communication. Systems for borrowing a pencil. Systems for peer-to-peer encouragement. The more well-thought-out your systems, the more joyful and less stressful your school day. This
one-day
professional learning workshop will walk teachers through creating systems for their classrooms. These systems will include the following (and more): expectations, consequences, parent communication, student supplies, entering and exiting the classroom, record keeping, and requesting support.
