DSC Student Success: Science Investigations - Caves in Arkansas (Grasping Phenomenal Science)



How can engaging in Science and Engineering Practices contribute to student success? Participants will use strategies, tools, and resources to learn how to support students in planning and carrying out investigations around the phenomenon of Arkansas Caves. Why are caves only located in certain areas of Arkansas? Curious? Join us a we explore caves and the reasons for them. 
This practice supports student success as measured through the reporting category, “Scientific Investigation” of the Science ACT Aspire. 6 hour session
