Note: This session is specifically designed for the Northeast AR ESC Dyslexia Cadre that includes administrators, dyslexia therapists, interventionists, specialists, and other school contacts. During this meeting, participants will revisit the Dyslexia school-based evaluation process.
Vicki King (ADE), will be present to guide participants in making school-based decisions that identify and support students having difficulty with reading and spelling. Participants thinking will be extended beyond the basic school-based identification process, by analyzing actual case study data of children having difficulty with reading and spelling and by working as a team to decide what supports would be appropriate for students.
