SWAEC- Understanding the Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on Development
In this session, you will learn about Adverse Childhood Experiences and the impact these events have on the development of a child’s brain. You will gain an understanding of how trauma impacts behavior and the importance of connecting with children from hard places. This session will offer tools to incorporate in a classroom environment to promote hope and healing for children.
