AFESC--SIM- Strategic Intervention Model: Content Enhancement Routines for Vocabulary Routine



Students learn more when they are actively involved in the learning process. The Content Enhancement approach involves making decisions about what content to teach, manipulating and translating that content into student-friendly formats, and presenting it in memorable ways for diverse groups of students.

This morning session will emphasize the Vocabulary LINCING Routine, a powerful tool designed to facilitate students’ learning and remembering the meanings of complex terms. These auditory and visual memory devices are constructed and used in a sequence especially designed to enhance students learning vocabulary in any content.

There is a book included with this session for $10, and money is due the day of the training.  If you are outside of the Arch Ford Consortium; there will also be a $25.00 charge for attendance.
