Students learn more when they are actively involved in the learning process. The
Content Enhancement approach involves making decisions about what content to teach, manipulating and translating that content into student-friendly formats, and presenting it in memorable ways for diverse groups of students.
This afternoon session will offer a communication device known as the Framing
Routine, a concrete representation of abstract ideas. This graphic organizer helps students focus on the relationships between main ideas and details and how pieces of key information associated with a topic fit together.
There is a book included with this session for $10, and money is due the day of the training. If you are outside of the Arch Ford Consortium; there will also be a $25.00 charge for attendance.
