NWAESC(2246)---TALENTS: Hovering or Helping: Paraprofessional Training
This workshop will provide paraprofessionals with information and resources to be successful in their careers. A wealth of information and strategies for paraprofessionals will be presented. Overview of the following elements will be provided: Roles and Responsibilities; Confidentiality; Strategies to enhance communication among parents, teachers, and paraprofessionals; References for requirements established by state and federal rules and regulations; Resources to enhance and improve classroom and behavior management and promote independence; References for characteristics of disabilities.
