GFESC - PRE K TRAINING



This Pre K training is an explicit and systematic approach to teaching letter sounds and writing skills.  Phonemic Awareness, Oral Language, Phonics and Vocabulary activities that align with the Science of Reading will also be presented.  The information in this workshop will help children develop skills needed for entering Kindergarten.

Important Session Information:


NO COST TO PDC DISTRICTS.  Lunch will be provided.

 

MATERIALS REQUIRED:Because Pre K Fundations will be a program that is specifically discussed in this workshop, participants are asked to bring the Pre K Teacher's Activity Guide and the Trace and Write Flip Chart, if possible.  If you do not have Fundations, please do not worry.  This workshop is for all wanting to learn more about the Science of Reading and how specifically to support Pre K.
