AFESC--PLC’s for Singletons and Small Schools

This session is designed for school teams and administrators who are beginning or are already in the process of implementing Professional Learning Communities, but are struggling with how to handle singletons. Singletons are defined as those teachers who are the only one teaching their content/grade in a school or district.   The session will begin with a book study on How to Develop PLCs for Singletons and Small Schools by Aaron Hanson and will then focus on ways to creatively address situations that schools are facing.  Work time with support to solve real PLC issues small schools are facing will be provided at the end of the session.
