NEA - Oh, the Places the Money Goes

Having dollars in your pocket is one thing; keeping them there is another. So where does the money go? Spending is affected by preferences, choices, trends, and taxes—but are your students thinking about spending decisions? Using an integrated approach that touches most subject areas, this workshop will inspire you to explore ways to enhance and develop higher order thinking and decision-making skills that better prepare students for success in the REAL world. At all grade levels, money can be a common denominator and a great teaching tool to create a REAL challenge to analyze and evaluate decisions. Join us for a fun and educational day filled with active learning and take away ideas to keep more dollars in your pocket. This workshop is designed for all grade levels and addresses national standards. Attendees will receive FREE ready-to-use resources and materials and prizes will be raffled off. Don’t miss the chance to learn about the “places the money goes.”

Lunch will be provided compliments of the Federal Reserve.
