ARESC-Exploring the Four Cores Through Theatre



The versatility of theatre allows students an avenue to develop cognitive abilities that complement study in other disciplines. This hands-on workshop includes two parts: exploring the math and science behind theatre tech; using drama techniques to explore the literary elements and social issues within Art Spiegelman's graphic novel, Maus. Participants will be provided with "make and take" activities which include sample materials, resource lists, and grades 6-12 curriculum connections. 

Important Session Information:


Session will be held at the Art and Science Center Theatre at 701 S Main St, Pine Bluff

Participants not under contract with ARESC's member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session.
