FOR SCHOOL LIBRARIANS
This workshop will introduce the participants to the new Arkansas Learning Standards for School Libraries. The participants will unpack the standards, exploring how the standards can be used to revise their current curriculum and develop sample assessments based on the standards. Resource documents, grade level benchmarks and implementation strategies will be provided. Participants are asked to bring their laptop or other device. If the minimum enrollment of 10 participants is not met, the session well be cancelled. Cooperatives are asked to encourage their school librarians to attend this PD at a Cooperative that has met the minimum.
