Independent Study: CTE Teachers
The NWAESC will enable CTE teachers to receive professional development hours for their work visiting and interviewing employers.
The teachers will: • Determine business/industries related to their programs of study. • Contact the business to set date/time for the interview at the business work location. • Conduct the professional interview, using the pre-approved questions. • Record the business leaders’ responses. • Get name, title, business name and signature of the person interviewed. • Complete required documentation and submit to Cheryl Pickering at NWAESC • Visit three separate businesses related to program of study and receive six hours of professional development credit. • Prepare presentation to share at the NWAESC, the date will be determined after the work is complete.
