SWAEC- Social Emotional Teaching Strategies
Participants will learn about teaching social-emotional skills. Participants will be able to define emotional literacy and identify activities that build "feeling vocabularies." Participants will also learn about the importance of providing opportunities for children to begin to understand their own, as well as others, emotions. There will also be a discussion on helping children learn to control anger and how to handle disappointment and how to teach anger management skills.
