AFESC--Self-Care and Work Life Balance



This session is designed for teachers who are looking to find ways to maintain their well-being while facing the demands of being a teacher.  Topics covered include understanding why it is important to first take care of ourselves and model self-care and balance for co-workers and students, how to create a school culture that supports well-being, connections to each level of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, ways to streamline the tasks of a teacher to be more effective, and designing self care plans for individual use, teams, or students.
