SCSC-Bullying Prevention



This is a four-hour training designed by Dr. Becky Bailey to help teach others how to transform aggression behavior into helpful actions. Adults will learn ways to address tough bullying issues in this session. 

          Bully Prevention Objectives:

  • To define the causes to aggression.
  • To learn four of the seven Conscious Discipline skills®: composure, Assertiveness, Positive Intent, and Empathy.
  • To understand seven beliefs of Conscious Discipline®
  • To understand three types of aggression and how to handle each type.


Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. All other participants including nurses and paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (the address tied to escWorks). In the event that an individual cannot attend the session for which he/she registered, it is the individual’s responsibility to cancel using his/her escWorks shoebox. Cancellations may take place up to the day before the session(s). All "no-shows" will be invoiced the full price.
