To strengthen alignment with Act 930 of 2017 and the requirements for schools to have student success plans to assist with achieving readiness for college, career and community engagement, the state will provide access to College and Career Readiness tools for all students in grades 8-12 beginning in the fall of 2019. The state has approved seven vendors who met the minimum qualifications to adequately assess student aptitude.
Districts have from June 17, 2019, to August 23, 2019, to make their selection for the 2019-20 school year. Five vendors have agreed to host a webinar on July 25th from 9:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m to assist the districts in learning more about these products. Please designate a person(s) to attend from your school to assist in choosing the right tool for your district. Selections may not be changed until the next school year (2020-21). Below is the scheduled meeting times with the following vendors.
Choices 360 - 9:00 a.m.
Xello - 10:00 a.m.
Naviance - 11:00 a.m.
Headed 2 - 1:00 p.m.
Kuder - 2:00 p.m.
