DSC Special Health Care Needs Training for Paraprofessionals
This three-hour workshop addresses issues on how to ensure safe and effective services for students with special health care needs and the role of the paraprofessional in providing those services. A registered nurse in the district will need to complete the hands-on skills check-offs. This training is open to school nurses, special education supervisors and paraprofessionals.
