ARESC-BX3 Cohort 2 Year 1
BX3-Year 1
The BX3 (Behavior Extreme 3-Training, Coaching, Empowering) Project helps district teams to build local capacity in order to work effectively with students with challenging behaviors and is aligned to the Arkansas State Systematic Improvement Plan.
This multi-year initiative aims to increase the knowledge base and capacity of educators regarding the development of legally defensible Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP) based on evidence-based practices. During BX3 Year 1, the distinct team will receive 8 sessions of professional development on evidence-based and high-leverage practices in special education. District will also receive at least 6 sessions of on-site coaching.
Participants must bring an electronic device(laptop preferably) to each training session in order to access training materials and activities. Attendance at all training session is mandatory.
