Science teachers in grades 3-12 across Northwest Arkansas are invited to participate in the 2019 - 2020 Grasping Phenomenal Science Cohort. The cohort will focus on the following topics of professional learning for participating teachers along with site based support throughout the school year:
• October 15: Using Data to Inform Instruction & Assessment Development
• January 16: Science & Engineering Practices: Engaging in Argument from Evidence & Constructing Explanations
• March 12: Science Unit Development: Taking the Next Steps
Attendance at all three dates is required. Lunch will be served. Please bring your laptop.
