This PD session is for Dollarway, Pine Bluff and Watson Chapel as members of the ARESC Alternative Education Consortium. Any member of those districts that will be responsible for coding Alternative Education attendance, discipline, student schedules and teacher information should attend OR one point-of-contact to take it back to the district in a timely manner is welcome to attend.
The Arch Ford ALE and HUB models of Alternative Education were used to create our new Academies: Focus, After-Focus and Flex. Our partners from Arch Ford will be at ARESC on to cover proper coding of students within these innovative models of Alternative Education.
ARESC would like to offer a 1/2 day training for our AE Consortium schools to receive guidance in
- how to properly enter a student's Focus, After-Focus or Flex course schedule
- information to assign the teachers-of-record
- how to properly designate a student as alternative education for each academy
- other tips and strategies used by the Arch Ford ALE and HUB schools to ensure that schools have the information necessary to ensure accuracy of school data
- time will be allowed for each school to work on t
