The focus of the Fall WIN Summit is to connect educators, local industries, and students with an end goal of providing students with a career after graduation. This Summit will continue the conversations of workforce recruitment and student success that were started at the June WIN Summit. The WIN team hopes to inspire educators and give them tools to be successful through speakers, success stories, curriculum from other schools with similar programs, and one-on-one conversations with industry leaders. Each participant and school will be given copies of the first ever WIN Catalog (one for each High School student) which contains valuable information about local companies such as career options, job requirements, salaries, QR codes to company HR pages, and more!
The first person to register from each school will have the opportunity to bring their best senior CTE student. These students will receive recognition for being O.U.R.'s top CTE students at the Summit and will have the opportunity to speak to industries. The hope is that this interaction will lead to an internship or job after graduation for the students and that the students will relay the information they gain at the Summit to their peers.
