OUR Essential Behavior Concepts



Participants will be introduced to applied behavior analysis, an established scientific approach to meaningful behavior change. Behavioral concepts covered in this session will provide a  foundation and an understanding of behavior; common language and the process used to address challenging behavior will be promoted through the behavioral concepts. Participants will experience a theoretical shift relative to behavior management and behavior change. This is day 1 of the 3 part Essential series, and is a prerequisite to session 2: Essential Data Collection.

This is day 1 of the 3 part Essential series that must be attended in sequential order and is a prerequisite to session 2: Essential Data Collection. Completion of the 3 part series is a requirement for consideration of BX3 for the '20-'21 school year and attendance at future Targeted Training (Formerly Tier II).
