The Day-1 Session is entitled "Launch Eureka Math: A Story of Units". This six-hour session prepares new users to successfully implement Eureka Math. The day begins with interactive exploration of a module. Participants learn about the curriculum through the lens of the key shifts necessitated by the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.
The Day-2 Session is entitled "Focus on Fluency: A Story of Units". In this six-hour session, participants explore cornerstone instructional tools, including Springs, skip-counting and other counting exercises, make ten addition and take from ten subtraction problem-solving strategies, and Whiteboard Exchanges. Participants experience each tool from a student's point of view.
