NWAESC(2095)---Behavior Essentials: Necessary Skills to Effectively Change Behavior - Session 1: Essential Behavior Concepts



Participants will be introduced to applied behavior analysis, an established scientific approach to meaningful behavior change. Behavioral concepts covered in this session will provide a foundation and an understanding of behavior; common language and the process used to address challenging behavior will be promoted through the behavioral concepts. Participants will experience a theoretical shift relative to behavior management and behavior change.

Suggested TESS components addressed for this BX3 workshop include: 1C, 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D, 4B
