WDMESC: "Building Connections: A Team Approach to Education after Brain Injury"



Head injury varies in type and severity and can have a significant effect on educational performance. Participants in this training will learn types of head injury and educational impact, as well as evidence-based and high leverage practices to use for student success. This training is appropriate for speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, general and special education teachers, special education administrators, phychological examiners, and school nurses (in process of ATrain approval).

This session will consist of a three-hour Zoom and three-hours of self-study. During the June 3, 9:00-12:00 Zoom presentation the participants will be given an overview and directions for the PD, handouts and resources for the self-study.
