DSC Internet Safety and Sex Trafficking- Zoom Session



The internet is one of the biggest factors affecting children and their safety in society today. This workshop will discuss predators, internet safety, risky behaviors, Arkansas law, and human trafficking. Upon completion of the training, participants will understand the different types of technology used by children and teens, be able to focus on a proactive approach to digital safety, understand the most common online issues that children and teens face in the digital age, learn how to address the legal aspects of online safety with best practices and learn how to help victims navigate through trauma after incidents have occurred and the resources available to aid in this process.
