The ACT Aspire requires 3rd grade students to write a reflective narrative. This professional learning opportunity is designed to define reflective narrative, identify the prerequisite skills students need, and consider a structure for writing a reflective narrative. Participants will analyze various ACT Aspire reflective narrative prompts to identify what the prompts require and how this impacts instruction. Lesson ideas will be provided.
