WDMESC: Traumanomics: Crimes Against Children and Strategies to Deal With ACEs in the Classroom



A survivor turned educator, this presenter connects a gripping first-hand account of a 27 year old murder investigation with the effects of trauma on learning. Arkansas Therapist, Jordan Howard and Educator Kris Bertelsen share the effects of trauma on children along with resources and strategies to empower healing and resilience.  

 

This session will utilize ZOOM meeting technology and will consist of live content delivery,
experiential exercises, and reflection assignments. Registered participants will receive a ZOOM
link prior to the workshop.The live content delivery will consist of 3-4 hours of lecture, and
experiential exercises, followed by 2-3 hours of assignments designed to enhance the learning
experience. June 10th-8:30-12:30. Reflection assignments due July 31st to receive full credit.
