This introductory Grasping Phenomenal Science (GPS) session
is designed for any teacher or instructional leader who wants to know more
about science instruction aligned with the Arkansas K-12 Science Standards.
Learn how to interpret the standards for 3-dimensional teaching and learning in
the classroom.
Participants need to have access to a device with internet
capabilities and a google account.
Participants must participate in online
discussions, complete assignments, and provide evidence of application of tools
taught in this session. Participants must view a short video that highlights
DESE mission and vision, High Leverage Practices (HLPs), and G.U.I.D.E for Life
prior to the virtual session.
All Science sessions will be held virtually through Zoom and Google Classroom. Accounts for Zoom and Google Classroom will be required.
