DSC Transitioning into Perkins V for New & Returning FACS Teachers - Zoom Session
The DESE-Division of CTE will host a very important training for new and returning FACS teachers. Topics of discussion include: Perkins V, new programs of study, industry certifications, FCCLA, equipment requirements and the new standards for programs of study. Teachers will be given the opportunity to showcase projects within their local program area. Please bring the necessary materials to showcase your projects. During the afternoon, teachers will complete a local needs assessment to assist in writing the local Perkins application. All FACS teachers are encouraged to attend this meeting.
