SCSC VIRTUAL - Addressing the Challenges of Teaching Math to Students with Dyscalculia and/or Dyslexia

Get prepared to be engaged in session activities designed to raise your awareness of Dyscalculia (specific learning disability in math) and Dyslexia (specific learning disability in reading) while providing ideas/strategies to teach math to students with one or both of these specific learning disabilities. Discussion of possible screeners for dyscalculia will be included.  TESS components addressed:  3B, 3C, and 3D.

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of 

cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any trainings.
