AFESC--Self Care for Educators - Day 1

This session is designed for educators who are looking to find ways to improve their well-being while facing the demands of being an educator in today’s schools.  Day 1 will focus on Levels 1 -2 of the Self-Care hierarchy based on the work of Dr. Tina Boogren and will help you examine your habits in the areas of Basic Needs (food, water, exercise, breathing)  and Safety (physical and emotional).   If you feel like you are burned out each day and want to do a better job taking care of yourself so you can give your best to your students and family each day, then this is the workshop for you!  This is a hands-on workshop where participants will not just learn about healthy habits, but will experience them.  Day 1 can be taken as a stand-alone workshop, or you can continue your learning with the Day 2 session.

1b, 2a, 2c, 4a
