OUR Instructional Leaders' Conference--High Leverage Practices in Education Introduction--Virtual



High Leverage Practices for Inclusive Classrooms offers a set of practices that are integral to the

support of student learning, and that can be systematically taught, learned, and implemented by

those entering the teaching profession. The book focuses primarily on Tiers 1 and 2, or work that

mostly occurs with students with mild disabilities in general education classrooms; and provides rich,

practical information highly suitable for teachers. Time will be provided for collaborative work and planning for next steps.

This session will be presented virtually. Links will be emailed to email addresses in ESC Works for all registered participants prior to the session.

Schools are encouraged to encourage team participation  consisting of all special education teachers in the building, administrators and selected general education teacher/leaders to this leadership/instruction session. 

The professional text, High Leverage Practices in Special Education, will be provided and the session is presented by one of the authors, Dr. Lawrence Maheady.
