NAESC Transition Planning for Students with Significant Disabilities

This online training will provide interactive opportunities to review assessments and tools that can provide information needed to write meaningful transition plans for students with significant disabilities. Activities will be included to help determine post-secondary goals and activities that can help build skills needed throughout life, as well as providing ideas for family engagement and interagency collaboration—essential components of effective planning.  Ideas for options for post-school outcomes will be shared, as well as examples of AR students who have reached positive post-school outcomes.
