NEA - Content Area Reading Strategies - (Virtual)



This 6-hour professional development focuses on what is meant by content area reading, what successful readers do to access information when reading content-related texts, difficulties readers may encounter, and offers strategies that content area teachers may use to help ensure that all students are successful readers in every content area.  The audience for this professional development is content teachers in grades 3-6 and K-12 special education teachers.

If you are not under contract with the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative or one of our 14 member districts, you will be responsible for all fees related to this workshop.  The fee for this workshop is $25.  Payment is expected the day of the training unless prior arrangements have been made.
