The ADI-R is a comprehensive parent interview that provides an assessment of individuals suspected of having autism spectrum disorders. During the training, participants watch a demonstration of the ADI-R, practice administering portions with a parent volunteer, review codes, and discuss administration. It is important that participants read the manual and have observed ADI-R’s in order to be prepared to administer and code the entire ADI-R. Attending this training is the first step in obtaining research reliability in the ADI-R.
