GFESC Into the Outdoors at Petite Jean Mountain



Join the GFESC and Petite Jean Mountain staff to explore Petite Jean Mountain. Participants will meet at 9 AM at the Petite Jean Lodge and embark on a day of exploring the biota, geology, and history of the mountain. Science teachers will have the opportunity to attend follow-up day(s) developing. Grasping Phenomenal Science (GPS) lessons, units, and assessments that will correspond to state biology or earth science standards. Dates available include June 11, 12 and August 3. Assessments available July 28 and 29th.

LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED

Dress appropriately for warm weather, extensive exercise, water.

Bring a sack lunch, extra water, bug repellent, sun screen.
