NEA - Science of Reading: Phonological Awareness - (Virtual)
This is a one-day session meant for those who chose the LETRS Foundations Trainings, the Arkansas IDEAS Learning Path, or the IMSE Comprehensive or Intermediate Prescribed Pathway for Proficiency. This training will focus on phonological awareness by discussing the phonological and phonemic continuums, examining the role of phonemic awareness in skilled reading, and applying the knowledge of phonological awareness to instruction. Articulation of both consonants and phonemes are taught through the use of a sound wall.
