Using Assessments to Drive Reading Instruction



This 6 hour professional development focuses on administering and analyzing various assessments available for making informed decisions on student reading comprehension difficulties.  Assessments include but not necessarily limited to: DSA, PAST, Decoding Survey.  Participants will have the opportunity to administer the assessment themselves and then analyze the data to determine next steps.  The audience for this professional training is reading teachers in grades 3-9.
