OUR SIM Listening and Note-taking Strategy (Virtual Sessions)

Listening and Note-Taking is a part of the Strategic Instruction Model (SIM) Learning Strategies curriculum. It is an easy-to-learn strategy that helps students identify and quickly capture important information during a lecture, sort main ideas and details as they write, and study their notes to earn the best test grades possible. Listening and Note-Taking is suitable for instruction in core subject courses as well as supplemental skill-based classes.

This session includes the instructional and student practice materials (reproducible book), which may be picked up at OUR Cooperative prior to June 2 virtual session. Classroom support for implementation will also be provided during the school year.
This session will be offered virtually as follows:

Zoom sessions from 9-10:30 on June 2 & 23 with three asynchronous lessons (3 X 1 hour= 3 hours)

6 hours PD credit will be granted for completion of all components by June 23.

**Please check that your contact information is accurate in ESC Works. Zoom links and updated information will go out through the email address provided.
