In this second in a series of online professional development sessions, “Essential Practices for Wondrous Science,” teachers learn how to engage students in doing scientific investigations. As a process, science works through the careful gathering of evidence to support claims. Planning for investigations that yield useful results is an essential skill students need in order to develop confidence in their ability to do science.
