GREC-ZOOM - Virtual K-2 FUNdamentals of Number Sense

THIS SESSION WILL BE OFFERED VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM.

This 2 day session is based on the learning progression for the development of early number sense from Kindergarten to second grade.  On Day 1, we will delve into discussions about the components of Early Number Sense: subitizing, comparison, counting principles, hierarchical inclusion, and number conservation.  On Day 2, we will shift our focus to number relationships, spatial relationships, one and two-more or less, understanding anchors, and part-part-whole relationships.  Join us as we discuss each of these concepts and their implications for the mathematics standards, teachers, and students in supporting the development of these skills.

TESS: 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 3a, 3c, 3d, 3e, 4e
