THIS SESSION WILL BE OFFERED VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM.
This 2 day session is based on the learning progressions focusing on fractions from third to fifth grade. Participants will engage in developing a deeper understanding of this foundational content, how to build fluency from conceptual understanding within these standards, and how to make instructional decisions responsive to the need of each student. The math content in the PD is aligned to the ACT Aspire, primarily the reporting categories of Number and Operations: Fractions, Modeling, and Justification and Explanation.
