SCSC-VIRTUAL- Science of Reading AR IDEAS Video#9: Building Comprehension and Writing Through Vocabulary
Building Comprehension and Writing Through Vocabulary is the ninth course in the fifteen-hour Science of Reading proficiency learning pathway D as well as the awareness pathway. This training will be VIRTUAL, and interaction will be required via ZOOM. Vocabulary is one of the essential components of reading instruction, but it is sometimes neglected because it can be tricky. We will discuss best practices that can strengthen reading and writing skills.
Important Session Information:
For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any trainings.
