SCSC - VIRTUAL Five Practices Tasks in Mathematics, Grades 6-12



This session is VIRTUAL. This session explores the five practices for orchestrating effective discussion and the planning and implementation of five-practices lessons. Five practices lessons are used to promote student reasoning and problems-solving skills as they learn or deepen content knowledge. Learn how to find and implement five practices lessons. TESS components addressed:  1B, 1C, 1E, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, and 3E.

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any trainings.
